  • Tracking video onto a surface so it resizes and rotates to match it?

Hey, is there anyone that can help me out with this, I have a square that rotates around, and on the flip side I want to apply a video that tracks its rotation. So it’s like the video has been pasted onto the surface. I would love some help with this, thank you very much.

Use Mocha (it comes with AE) to track and export corner pin data and apply that to your footage.

    Here’s a great tutorial

Is the square something you have created, or just a video file?

It’s something I have created in Cinema 4D.

It’s a 3D glass square (not a cube) that spins around, when it gets to the flip side, the video will go from 0% to 100% opacity (so the video can’t be viewed through the glass on the front side)

Anyway, I have it done with manual animation but it looks sloppy, will try that Mocha tutorial, thanks!
