I’m trying to stabilise a handheld shot so i can insert additional cg elements into it, but it is shot so loose, any tracking feature enters and exits frame, or is obscured by other elements, thus rendering it impossible to get a track from one feature.

Now I realise holding alt while moving the tracking feature point will enable the track to continue along its original trajectory and allow me to change track points, but when i throw a rotational track into this, it messes everything up.

I’m assuming this is because the angle of the two track points change if i change either of them. Is there a way around this? Or maybe im overlooking something? Its driving me crazy. :S

    Thanks

    Dave

Yeah, i may have to look at an external app, but was hoping someone had a nifty trick to keep it in AE.
