Tracking question
I’m kind of a noob here, so bare with me please. I know how to track and 3d track in Adobe After effects cs6. I did this with a cartoon face, and tracked it to a video game character, The face stuck to the character wonderfully! Now I want to take it a step further and animate the face so it talks and shows expression and what not. So my question is, can I track a moving picture to an another moving object? How is this done exactly? Any help would be much appreciated!

If you were able to attach a still picture to a moving object. Then just pre-compose this still and animate it inside it’s composition.

Do the cartoon face animation first in a composition, then drag that comp to where you have your character and make it follow the tracker just like you did before.
You can link t a tracker almost anything, even parameters of effects and some crazy good ways of get what you want.Good luck learning AE, is really a beautiful piece of soft…magic
