Something happened tonight that has never happened before. I have a Magix Vegas project with several layers. Basically a video file on one track, another video file below it, and a couple tracks above the video track that have a .png logo that I have as a watermark.

When I play or render the project, however, the tracks with the .png files are moving, like the animation you would see from a cheesy PowerPoint presentation. What causes this and how I can fix it? I don’t think I selected anything remotely that would do this, so I am stumped.

    Thanks for any help.

Just to add color, when I watch the project begin, the .png logos move from below the screen, continuing upward until they reach the x/y coordinates that they are supposed to be at. Once they get there, they stop moving and the placement looks fine.

I can’t figure out why they are moving into position instead of being stationery from the beginning.

Looks like animation. Check that you don’t have unwanted keyframes in the png’s pam/crop or track motion.

[Eric Clinch] “Check that you don’t have unwanted keyframes in the png’s pam/crop or track motion.”

    Yup. Gotta be it.

Thanks for the replies. How do I do that?

I don’t think I selected any track motion on these .png tracks. How do I do what you suggest? Thanks.

Also, on ONE of the .png tracks, I see a “fade” bar on the left side of the track – something I don’t see with any of the other tracks. It has a fade of 0, but again, none of the other tracks have fade.

Could that also be a contributing factor? How do I look for unwanted keyframes?

Is the keyframe that tiny grey diamond? I see it and it says “2d shadow, 2d glow” but I can’t delete it. What did I do to put this here and how do I get rid of it? I tried deleting the tracks and inserting new ones, but I still get the same result.
