I have many many tracks and many events with motion keyframes. Somewhere along the line I turned off the “Lock envelopes to events” button before I added 45 frames to all tracks at the beginning of the project. Now all my keyframes are off there original positions. I tried to delete 45 frames from the beginning with the “Auto ripple” turned on, and “Lock envelopes to events” OFF, but this moves everything in unison. Does anyone know how to fix this mess?

Turn off Lock Envelopes to Events,
    hit Ctrl/A to select everything,
hit the numeric 1 key 45 times.

    Thanks Garry,

But now I’ve got another problem. I didn’t think anyone was going to come up with a solution in a short time, so I started making corrections one at a time, starting from the top track and working down. I’m on track 20 now. Is there a way to just correct the lower tracks?

Use the Selection Edit Tool and drag it across whatever you need to work on.

P.S. Yours is a good example of why you want to save progessive project files as you work.

actually had 10 progressive backups, but to got back to even the latest one would mean redoing too much work and try to remember what to do. Thanks for your help, I’ll keep this info for the next time I need it.

While trying to render the project I received this “Exception” failure. Does anyone know what it means?
