  • TP emitter won’t emit when dropped into existing project

    Hey guys,

Having issues, simply adding a TP preset into an existing project.

I try dropping/double clicking the “TP Standard Emitter” preset, while in a project i am working on.

The problem is that the emitter will not emit particles. Actually, this happens with any TP preset i drop in here.

The presets work fine on new projects, just not with this one.

I’ve even tried deleting all objects/materials and then double clicking the preset…..still no emission of particles.

I’ve also tried opening other random C4D projects and adding a TP preset….some work and some don’t. I must be missing some rule as far as using TP with certain scene files?

I’ve attached the project file (containing just the TP preset).
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Dean

Open the Thinking Particles Settings while you are playing the scene. You will see that there are particles being generated.
You will also see that view type is set to none:) Try any other setting to see the particles.
