toWorld / fromWorld functions in ExtendScript?
Hello,
I’m fooling around with parented solids and need their world coordinates – is there a simple way like the toWorld expression function? I can’t seem to make it work using only scripting…

I would have the script add a 3D Point Control (CS5.5 or later), apply the toWorld() expression, harvest the results, and delete the control.

I guess you could use three sliders, each publishing one dimension of the 3D result.

Or probably better, just apply 3 different expressions (one for each dimension) to a single slider (harvesting the result each time);
