Total training ($199) standard version deal
Dear friends
I am planning to make some investment in AE training early next year. So far I have seen some excellent tutorials from Total training on COW. I have also seen an introduction about Anvel’s program and some of his tutorials here which are all great.Could anyone of you would like to recommend, which training should be given first priority, in other words which training would be more effec tive.
By $199 deal of total training, I mean their standard AE 6.5 training set, otherwise the PRO version is more expensive, which I cannot go for at the moment.

I’m a big fan of Brian’s work at Total Training. I bought the AE 6.0 PRO set and it’s helped me a lot as I started from no previous knowledge of AE or it’s UI. If you already know how to use AE, Anvil might be a better idea as it has a lot of real world examples eg. how to make promos etc.

Do you know if Anvil is video based training or written tutorials with excercise files? -
Without question – worth every penny, Pro version or not. I believe the Pro version is running at about 600.00, expensive but an essential expense if you want to take the app seriously.
Brian is probobly the best person to be learning from due to the fact that he developed alot of the functionality of AE.
Don’t think – just buy it.

Anvil is a video training series which gives you the project files to work along with, kind of like Total Training.
