Top View Environment Limitations
Hi Everyone.
I have a composition that extends deep in 3d space. In the top view I am zoomed all the way out to 1.5% and cannot manuever any more inside this view. The hand tool will not let me pan past certain limits even though I have layers and a camera that are positioned outside of these limits. Any insight on this issue is appreciated. Thanks. -

I believe the orthographic views are somewhat limiting, and I can’t think of a way around your issue. I’d suggest you file a feature request [link] with your suggestions for the many ways that the viewport could be improved in the future.

I recommend not using the hand and zoom tools to navigate the orthogonal views. Instead use the camera tools (c key).

Absolutely!
But please, still submit FRs about the orthographic views. It doesn’t make sense (from the user’s perspective) that comp size limits the orthographic viewports.
