    Dear Anyone,

I am trying to make a little funny family video in the style of TopGun. I have done everything, but when I switch from the original Top Gun opening credits to mine (showing my daughters name in place of Tom Cruise), I just cant get the font right. Anyone know what it is called?

    thanks

    Al

Not sure of the font but here are 2 websites that help you identify fonts. Hope this helps.

I just ran across this post today – probably won’t help you with your project now, but the best I’ve found that looks closest to the Top Gun intro credits text is:

“Franschi” font ( All Caps )
    https://www.dafont.com/franschi.font

It’s not perfect, as the ‘A’ and ‘S’ are different, but it’s a pretty darn close ringer.

I’ll keep looking and post if I find the actual one. Hope this brings a smile as it is about 7 years since you posted this, if you still have the same email/alerts hooked up ☺

    Cheers,
    ST
