Top 20 Color Correction Set Ups in Ascending order
Dear forum,
I am looking at some color correction projects, and I have been asked to come up with a list in ascending order of Top 20 color correction set ups (from the best – and most expensive to the cheap prosumer ones). I do have some names, but I am not sure about the order (plus some of them are not really for color correction but I guess you can do some color correction if you really want like Combustion and Shake) :

2. Quantel IQ
3. Autodesk Lustre
4. Autodesk Inferno
5. Autodesk Flame
6. Autodesk Flint
7. Autodesk Fire
8. Autodesk Smoke
9. AVID Symphony DS Nitris
10. AVID Symphony Nitris
11. AVID Adrenaline
12. AVID Media Composer
13. Final Cut Pro 5
14. Autodesk Combustion
15. Apple Shake
16. After EffectsHow would you sort them, and am I missing some?

A few more to name – Pogle, Baselight, Speedgrade, Final Touch – now Apple Color.
Ask 10 colourists – you’ll get your column sorted in 10 different orders… -
I would also add assimilate scratch 🙂
