is there a way to assign a keyboard shortcut (like a function key) to toggle between toolsets? i.e. effects editing, capture, etc.? thanks.

    Hi

    Yes you can.

Open the command palette and the keyboard setting (so you can see what buttons are free).

At the bottom of the command palette the radio button for button to button assignment should be highlighted, you need to change that to button to menu item.

Once you change that click on a free button, the cursor should change, and then go to the drop down menu that you want and click on the item (i.e. audio editing etc etc)

    That should do it

    🙂

Awesome! Thank you very much. I thought it might be possible, but I wasn’t sure how. I appreciate your help.
