Tools Not Working?
I am relatively new to FCP and am having trouble with the Crop, Distort and Pen tools. Basically they are not working. I did what the manual says. Select the clip, Select the tool, use the handles. Only problem is no handles apprear. All my other tools work fine. What am I doing wrong.

Selected the clip in the Browser or in the viewer?
Do you have wireframes active?It’s all quite confusing at first. The tools work, you’re just not using them properly yet and the interface could be far more intuitive. Go back through the setup for this operation carefully, try not skip any steps. You’ll figure it out. And welcome to the family.
