  tool to divide int oequal spaces?

  Many years ago I used a graphics program for creating slides that had a tool that would divide an area into equally spaced units. It would leave a little tick mark to use as a reference.
  Cadd programs also do this. Is there an addon tool for PS that doeas this?
  Or is there another way to achive this?

  Example: You have your canvas set and you want to divide an area inside that from left to right and create say 33 equally spaced vertical lines. How can you easily do this in PS?
