Tool for panning
Hi,
I am new to dslr video and I was wondering if there was such tripod head wich only purpose is to make horisontal panning easier. I waste a lot of time getting my tripod on the angle I want, so I thought that I need some kind of device between my tripod and fluidhead on wich I can make fast adjustments for horisontal panning. I assume that this thing exsists but I don’t know how it’s called and I can’t find it anywhere. -

You might be referring to a ball head that allows you to level your camera without adjusting the legs of the tripod. Most of the better tripods have this functionality. Here is one example: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/822102-REG/Sachtler_1001_Ace_Fluid_Head_with.html
