I prefer editing with keyboard rather than pushing buttons with my mouse.

When I’m editing on Avid I have the option of hiding buttons and making my editing area a lot less cluttered wit stuff that I will never use. And I get more room for my video playback and audio channel.

Please tell me that there is a way to eliminate buttons under my source and master video screens.

    Thanks much

Thank you Alex. It’s going to take me a week or so to get used to this new way of doing things.

You can also customize all your keyboard shortcuts to your liking, or choose from some presets including one for ‘avid media composer 5’.

    Good morning James.

Yes, I’m starting to map out my keyboard close to what I have on Avid 8. I’m finding the the Lynda video series in Premiere 2015 is great. The woman doing the teaching is the best I’ve ever seen.

    Thanks for your post.

    Eric
