Too many audio tracks, Some not playing until other’s deleted
Hi,
I am editing a short documentary style video. I am using Digital Juice’s Stack Trax music CDs, and because each instrument of a song can be on it’s own audio track for easy audio editing, I have to render the audio for playback.
The problem I am having is: even after rendering, some audio tracks don’t play. For example, In the beginning of my timeline there are 14 audio tracks being used. After rendering, everything plays except for my narration. If I delete the music, the narration can now be heard. What is the problem?
I tried Final Cut Pro>User Preferences>General Tab and changing “Real Time Audio Playback” to 20 tracks, but that just eliminates the need for rendering.
Any ideas?
I’m running a Mac Pro with 2 2.66 GHz Dual-Core Xeon Processors and 13GB of RAM. OSX10.4.11
Thanks for the help.
