toggle waveform in Media Composer
OK, so I can toggle my waveforms, (sample plot) with the click of a mapped key on my keyboard in Express Pro. However, when exploring my command pallette in Media Composer 2.7 there is no toggle waveform button available to choose from. Isn’t there another way to turn my sample plot on and off rather than using the “fast menu,” of which is not fast at all, in the timeline? Thanks bovines. -J

I use the timeline view. At the bottom of the timeline, to the right of the step in/step out buttons, is a pull down menu. My bet is its called untitled. Pull down that menu, you’ll see ‘Save as…’. You can have multiple views stored here. I’ve got a base setting, then settings for audio work.
Its not as elegant as a button, but I’ve got my keyboard settings crammed with other stuff I use on a daily basis. It works well for me.

Hi,
I don’t know if this will work or not, but try selecting Menu to Button Reassignment, and then select Sample Plot from the timeline fast menu and assign it to a keyboard key.
