  Toggle video windows issue

  I have a Mac Pro with a Black Magic Deck Link Mini Monitor. When I use the shortcut key to toggle between the source monitor and the program monitor the video/client monitor goes black for a moment instead of just instantly toggling from video image to video image. It works perfectly on my Avid Media Composer it is only an issue in Premiere. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue.
