I have Vegas 8 Platinum on two different computers. One will show the .TOD files in the explorer section of Vegas, one will not. I can navigate to the folders that contain the .TOD files, but folders appear empty when I open them. I can import the .TOD files, but it takes quite a while and causes the system to become unresponsive. The .TOD files are on a network drive.

Do you have “Hide known filetypes” selected on one computer and not the other?

Where do I find this option?

Your reply prompted me to do some more poking around and I found it. In the explorer pane, I found a “views” button and found that “all files” was unchecked. I checked it and BINGO…there they are.

    Thanks for your reply!
