To Journal or not to journal
I am just setting up an new external hardware based FireWire 800 raid ( 2 x 200gb). Using a “add logix” firewire enclosure. The question is should I journal the partitions or not.

The consensus seems to be no journaling on media drives…

That seems to b the word I’m getting. For media drives that is. Boot drives journaling on.
