to FLV
Hello..
I just finished cutting a 10 min video… its on DVCpro hd..
I am trying export it directly in to flv but i do not see the option in FCP or QT. I have macromedia professional and also did install the converter plugin downloaded form their server..I just dont have time to search for the plugin and make it work right now.. I was wondering if someone could tell me the best way to out put to FLV i do have the flash video encoder but my question is if i make a movie of the time line and take it to the flash video encoder would i not be loosing a generation?? as oppose to encoding directly from FCP..
If i do export it first what would the best setting be to export it before taking it in to the FLV encoder..
also the person creating the website asked me what resolution the flv files would be.? I have no idea what my answer would be to that…

If you export a QuickTime movie from FCP using “Current Settings” you won’t loose any quality because no recompression occurs (except for renders which you would have even if you could export to FLV directly). So I suggest that you export and then encode in your Flash encoder. Be sure that the “recompress all frames” check box is unchecked.
