    I’m capturing progressive video at 30 fps to Premiere Pro2.0,,,

    The Project timeline, I assume, to be 29.97,,, should I drop frames???

    Is there a better way that you know of ??? if so please chime in…

    If your camera uses drop-frame timecode, then use the 29.97 setting. Frames are not actually dropped. It is a method for accounting for the 29.97 instead of 30. All the frames are still there.
