    Hello there,

We regularly edit stuff recorded as 16:9 on sony handycams, to get that (fake I know) widescreen effect.

in our sequence set up what are the pros and cons of using an anamorphic setting over just a simple PAL DV setting?

Will the eported film not display as 16:9 anyway if we set it to do so in DVDSP say?

will we lose quality editing in 4:3 PAL or does it creat more work for the computer to run an anamorphic sequence than standard? or is it simply there to help us with things like title proportions etc?

    Hope this makes sense
