  TMP files

  Occasionally, I am getting these .TMP files when i open up After Effects. When i turn it off, they disappear. What are these? And why am i getting these? This was not happening before.

  They are created sometimes on my scratch disk (but not on the exact path i specified for caches).

  They are created on my external drive if my external drive is on.
