First off, the native titler in FCP is unbelievably bad. How it can even be called basic is beyond me. Unfortunately, its all I have to work with for now. That said, how does FCP save the titles it creates. In the “other” editing program it creates a clip in the bin after its created. In FCP,once you’re done in the text generator the only way it exists is on the timeline? Saving all does not put it somewhere you can get to it again?

Boris 3D is the FCP titler in your kit that everyone uses, and you need to drag each title from the viewer to a bin if you desire to save it somewhere other than the timeline. Its not so bad.

Try using Motion for text generation. Quite excellent actually.
