I’m importing a great looking titling sequence from Motion, into a FCP 6 project. The title sequence looks great while in FCP, and I’ve encountered no problems what so ever.

After I’ve finished the project, I Export > Using Quicktime, which It was my understanding, It will give the best output. But oddly enough, the text looks jagged on the edges and almost unrecognizable. At this point I don’t want to loose time compressing it anymore, I believe the output from FCP should be better for it to work.

I’m working in DV on my sequence, and I’m importing DV.
All text effects are done in Motion. I’ve imported the Motion project into FCP.
The output is for both Web and DVD.
I’m using Geneva 44pt, and Geneva 22pt for text in Motion.

Should I be working on a better format on the sequence? ProRes, DVCPRO50, or something else?
Is there a certain Text and size that will work better?

    Thanks in advance

Where does it look “jagged,” etc.?

    On an NTSC monitor?
    On a plasma/computer monitor?
    On a CRT/computer monitor?
    On a laptop/computer monitor?
    On a DV camera viewfinder?

It looks horrible on CRT & LCD, haven’t tried it in TV yet.
