Titles on DVD
Please help!!! I cut my film in FCP in my intel iMac. I exported “as a quicktime movie.” I burned it with Toast Titanium. The titles on the quicktime look great. The DVD when played shows the titles as much worse than what you would “aliased’ I would call it more like illegible. I have used Toast titanium before with excellent results – with a movie cut in iMovie!
I’m stumped. I have checked all of my settings they seem to be in order. The problem seems to be in the journey from quicktime to DVD.

Where do you want me to begin? DV-NTSC easy setup, compression is DV/DVCPRO 100%. Everything is at full quality.
This is so frustrating because I have spoken to several other editors who all say the same thing – “Titles just work, I’ve never had to think about it.”
The rest of the footage looks great. It is just the titles that look bad.
Hope you can help.
If you have any specific setings to look at let me know.

what is your bitrate settings before authoring

No..I mean what is the bitrate for your MPEG 2 stream.

I don’t know where to find that out.
