Title Transitions not Rendering
Hi everyone:
I have a problem that doesn’t make sense at all to me. I’m creating titles for sporting events using Fireworks. I’m creating the titles as PNG files in Fireworks and I’m adding them to me top track so that they appear the image of the athlete I’ve filmed. I want the title to look like the titles that appear under a boxer right before the fight’s about to begin. You know what I’m talking about–a title that has his name, weight, win/loss record etc.
Anyway, the title looks great. What I want to do now is animate it so that the fighter is on the screen for a few seconds and the title slides in from the left moving right. I want the title to remain on the screen for a few seconds long enough for the viewer to read it and then slide off the screen to the left–sort of like the title is being rolled out and then back in.
Here’s the problem–I have the transitions working great in Vegas preview, but when I render the video to AVI, the title’s transition doesn’t animate! It doesn’t slide in…it just appears there on the screen.
Can someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Ah ha! I figured it out. I just wasn’t selecting the portion of the timeline I wanted to render. I was rendering without selecting anything. Duh. Newbie here!
