    I’m hearing that stations more and more are requiring that titles in an HD delivered spot still must conform to 4×3 safe ranges, even if aired HD.

    Can anyone shed any light on this?

    i’m not sure if it’s “more and more”, (since there are less and less 4/3 only TVs)
    but it is true that that is a common delivery requirement.

    check with anyone you are delivering to

    the inner, small marks in the FCP title safe display indicate 4/3.
