title dissolve problem
Hello–
I’m having a problem when fading a title in and out over an image. It appears that the colors in the image change from before the title to the section with the title. Is there a way to make sure there is no color change under a title?
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you render the timeline? The image under the title should not change at all.

Yes, timeline is rendered. Not sure if you saw my followup post, noting that the problem is not visible in FCP but in my mpeg4 export. Saw thread saying a possible solution might be to export using native codec, but that’s not possible in this case.

What has suggested, Lonnie, is to export to the native codec THEN use compressor to export to mp4. Works perfectly every time. Exporting to anything other than the native project codec can result in issues like yours.
