  Title dissolve compression problem

  Hello,

  I am compressing a 30 minute program with Compressor on a Mac G4 D100 and have been having a real problem with 4 titles throughout the program. The titles are large white (235) fonts with a drop shadow over a graduated tan background. These titles fade on and off with 35 frame dissolves on both ends.

  The product I am getting stutters in the dissolve – and it varies with each title.

  I am working with a 5.9 – 6.5 Mbps datarate, and everything except for this looks great.

  I would like to keep the dissolve for the title, but am getting frustrated. Any thoughts?
