Anyone got any tips on creating corresponding 3d wolds that can interchange between AE and Lightwave?

Frankly I’d settle for tips on quickly matching up camera perspectives…I’m not expecting too much interoperability.

My Lightwave upgrade is coming today–though they STILL don’t have a fully Intel-Universal version out yet. (!)

There is a LW plug that will improve workflow between the two. Google “transmotion utilities pack” and search the COW for that term if you like.

    Hey thanks. 🙂

FYI, iif I recall, I found that the Transmotion Utilities weren’t a slam-dunk — they worked, but getting units to match took a bit of tweaking. Maybe Al’s got all that sorted out, but I’d check other links on the TU pack for more info. But that was maybe 5 years ago.

Trish and Chris Meyer cover AE/3D integration (LW, XSi, Maya, etc.) in one of their books, and I believe they have tips on Al’s plug.
