  • Tips for making nice & juicy black & white clip any1?

    Hey there!
I’m finishing my short horror flick and decided to make it all black & white.
Anyways, apart from playing with tint, levels and curves do you have any other tips to make it look real nice?
Maybe some info with which settings should i play with?
    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks guys.

You’ve already shot it and NOW you’re asking about making it black and white?
Footage should always be shot with the end color in mind. Lighting, wardrobe choice, set decoration, are all important things to consider.

    However…
Channel Mixer is a great way to get a bunch of control over what’s dark vs. what’s light. Check the monochrome box at the bottom then play with the top four sliders (the red ones)

    – The Great Szalam
(The ‘Great’ stands for ‘Not So Great, in fact, Extremely Humble’)

Ha, nice one there – I indeed didn’t made myself clear enough – Flick was supposed to be b&w, not that after i finished editing i thought it would look more gloomy that way.

Thanks for the reds mixer tip, wasn’t sure which ones will work best for me.
    thanks!
