  • timewarp: extending clip beyond original duration?

If I apply the timewarp effect to a clip and reduce the speed to 25%, how do I extend the clip beyond its original duration? It gets clipped when using a reduced speed. I can’t seem to extend a clip’s length like I can with time remapping.

If you just need to extend the clip length (the comp is longer than the clip), right click the footage in the Project Window, Interpret Footage > Main, then loop the footage enough to cover your extended time (4 loops if whole clip is %25).

If the comp is too short to handle the lengthrnrd footage, Composition > Comp Settings.
