    hi folks,

I am using MAC OSX, Linux and Windows. Due to Windows limitations the only way to share drives is NTFS. But any plugged NTFS or ext3 formatted HD is never offered in Timemachine to backup. I have MacFuse, NTFS-3G and ExtFSManager running on the MAC. How comes? Maybe something about accessing rights, or so? Any idea how to trick it?

    greets ….gunnar

Time machine ONLY works with mac fornated drives.

Reformat the drive Mac OS Extended and time machine away.
