Timeline/Event viewer switching playback glitch
Ever since 10.0.6 if I select the event viewer and land on a clip with a range already selected, when I switch back to the timeline the viewer window plays back the event viewer’s selection until I clear the selection.
I can work around it pretty easily by doing a quick command-1, shift-command-a, command-2 but it’s kind of driving me crazy.
Has anyone found a way around this? Is this useful for any reason or just a bug?

I have reported it as a bug. It is very annoying and I don’t see any useful reason for it. It’s probably the one thing I find bothers me most about using FCP X.

This happens to me, and it also drives me nuts. Glad to know it’s actually a bug – that has to be fixed in the next release.
