    Hi everyone,

I have a couple things on After Effects that are driving me insane…

1.) I’m dragging layers over the timeline trying to change their length. Let’s say I want layer 1 to start at 10 seconds and end at exactly 25 seconds. When I click and extend Layer 1 on the timeline it takes me to something stupid like 24.68 seconds. How can I make it snap to exactly 25 seconds?

2.) How can I display everything in seconds? Like instead of it saying 1:00 for 1 minute just have it say :60?

    Thanks in advance!!

    1. without knowing what frame rate you’re using, it’s hard to give a verbose response.

    2. AE counts time in H:M:S:F, in feet + frames, or in frames only. if you’re using H:M:S:F, then 59 plus 1 seconds will roll over to 1 minute 0 seconds. there’s no way to make it count time in seconds only.
