Timeline will not run
Working on an Axio SD system with Adobe Production Suite – a project we closed successfully on Friday – opens fine in the computer today but the timeline will not play when tapping the spacebar. Other projects play fine.
Saved this project with another name but still won’t play. Scubbing, audio and video, works fine. Brought up our last auto-save and that one plays fine but it’s incomplete. Would like to work on the project itself. Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried importing your project into a new one? Will it play then?

Thanks Chris. That was brilliant. Made a new project and imported as you suggested and the old project runs fine and all hthe assets were imported with the timeline – so I have some reconstruction to do (separate the track elements that are now premixed in a submix) but it sure makes it easier than going back to an auto-save. Thanks for the excellent suggestion!
