  Can anyone advise why, in a high definition sequence of 125 GB overall in PP CS 5.5.2 may stop playing video in monitor but, the audio keeps playing ?

  This does not happen all the time, but, has in a recent production of 35 minutes.

  It can be restarted and the check of editing on timeline continues..

  The recording in Encore is not affected and the resultant blu-ray is perfect.

  I have been running a DELL T5500 Server (Adobe Approved Specs) for some 5 years and this has happened only recently.

  The Dell Pro Support suggested using “msconfig ,Restricted Start Up”, disabling other computer functions ,this has been partially successful.
