  Timeline text has changed automatically

  I have several text clips in a 2min edit that were perfect before I shut down yesterday, and the whole timeline had finished rendering. Today after booting up and reviewing the edit, many of the text clips have changed back to default. I copied several of the clips from existing clips and changed the formatting and text, so I thought that might be the problem, but why would they go back to the default text prompt such as “Title” and “Subtitle”. And even stranger, in the timeline, all the clips are titled with the correct text.

  Is it necessary to create a new text clip from scratch to keep it independent from a copied source, or is possible to copy existing clips and make changes independently?

  Why has this happened?
