I slowly but surely getting into Premiere Pro 6 after years of FCP.

A couple workflow things are driving me crazy.

    1. Snapping – I prefer to blast through the timeline and cut out pieces I like with the razor tool, but snapping seems to be different in FCP. For example, say the playhead is at a certain spot my razor tool won’t snap to it if I drag it over. Can this be fixed?

    2. Audio – When you fast forward through audio it defaults into a high pitch helium tone. In FCP I can actually listen to speed up audio without this annoying high pitch sound. Can I turn this off in preferences?

    Thanks in advance.

i’m having all the same problems you are having. can’t snap with cut tool. I can’t figure out how to snap to the current in or out point. pitch thing sucks. and can’t figure out how to copy everything within the in and out points of the timeline ether. any luck on any of these working for you?

    thanks
