    Hi there,

I’ve had a problem with afx for a while now, since I got a new pc. Its probably just a setting somewhere but I can’t find one.

In CS2 version, whenever I scrub the timeline or adjust a parameter of any layer in the comp, I don’t get a live update in the composition monitor. Instead it only shows the change when i stop and let go of the mouse. It has finally annoyed me to the point of sorting it out as obviously I now have to preview constantly instead of being able to scrub through the timeline & I’m sure you could guess how difficult moving a position slider accuratly is without seeing it move live in the monitor.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

Click the little button at the top of the timeline, I think it’s first in the group of five, and it might be called “live update” in the help.

I think it’s switched off by default. Catches everyone, this one …
