    I need areport on how many video items are on my timeline (sequence). In our former NLE, you could call up a timeline report and it gave you a list of element. If this is plainly written in the manual, please let me have it and get it over with.

    no easy way to do this.

    quickest way i can think of is to grab everything in your timeline,
    drag to a new bin.
    sort bin by “type” and delete all transitions,
    export a batch list,
    open in spreadsheet app, like excel.
    all items there are numbered.

    if its just picture you’re interested in, and you have only one track of video,
    then you can make an EDL, and open that.
    all events in an EDL are numbered,
    but a transition counts as 2 event 🙁
