  • Timeline panel tabs overlapping instead of snapping

Posted by Adam Leonard on October 5, 2016 at 4:44 pm

So I’ve been using Premiere Pro 2015.2 for several weeks now, and then suddenly all of the panel tabs stopped neatly “snapping” into place neatly and instead overlap each other and just sit wherever I leave them. This is super irritating when I’m working with several sequences/nests. See screenshot below.

The tabs also no longer get small when I the space they have gets crowded. I tried trashing my preferences, and then it worked for the rest of the day (about an hour), but went back to the way it was once I booted it up the next day. Re-resetting the preferences did nothing this time. Any idea what’s going on or how to fix this? Thanks.
