Timeline is playing choppy, but the browser playback is smooth.
It’s playing choppy for both proxy and optimized. It is happening to a fair amount of the clips. On 10.3.1

Do the clips have many effects/transitions added? Are you playing from a slow hard drive? How many streams in which resolution/codec? All of these factors will affect playback perf.

No effects or transitions. It isn’t everything on the timeline that is choppy. It’s about a third of the clips. They were exported from Davinci all clips have the same resolution and codec.

And what is that resolution and codec and what sorts of drives and how many streams. You’re describing a performance issue which is typically related to trying to push too much information into a real-time playback. Also your system specs would be useful.
