I’m loving the transition from FCP to premiere (RED footage and AE integration are the huge motivations)…
but I can’t seem to get over one really tough aspect of cutting all day long in PP:

As I move a clip around the timeline, it seems delayed.
So much so, that I have to make my move then wait, and be very still, for a 1/4-1/2 second before it “kicks in” on the timeline.

The result is especially apparent using my wacom pen, but also there with the mouse.

The most frustrating thing is when I let go of the clip, it often moves in the direction of the cursor after I have let go.

If anyone has any tips, That would be much appreciated.
(btw: on mac pro 12core, 32 gigs, raid drive)
