Hi, I’ve always wondered about this, but for some reason never asked..

On the timeline, 1 sec is divided into 30 units, even though I’m in a 25fps PAL project, how come? Is there a way to change it to 25?

    Cheers!

    In your composition settings?

Nope, even though the frame rate is set on 25fps, the timeline is divided into 30 units per second..

I had the same problem. Its extremely weird, I agree, and it’s not that intuitively accesible.

    The solution in AE 6.5: File/Project Settings…/Timecode base – 25 fps.

    Thanks a lot!
Such a small thing, but it will make my life a lot easier 😀
