Does anyone now how to create the streaks in time-lapse footage
when shooting a stationary shot of traffic with the hvx 200?

I have tried in post speeding up the footage and applying different effects, but not really what I’m looking for.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks

Here is a thread I found that might be of help. I guess it is being called “interval timing” or something like that…I am trying to do a similar thing.

Shoot at 2fps with 350.0d shutter. Use the “Frame Rate Hack” to get to 2fps.

    Thanks

I viewed the framerate hack last night on you tube. Awesome info.

I’m off to buy the sd card today.

I’m also going to get your video next week.

In After Effects try the different time effects. One will work.

    Thanks again for everyones help!

I just tried the framerate hack and it worked perfectly.

I was able to achieve the look I wanted with a simple sample shot this evening…. it looks awesome…. with a little compositing its going to look even better.

I’m impressed with the ability to create footage like this straight from the camera.
