timecode window
Hallo everybody,
need help with timecode window in final cut. i am editing a film now. i want the timecode window to show first, the current timecode in the timeline und second it should desplay the original timecode of the current clip in the timeline. does anybody know if it possible. thanks a lot irina

You can Iryna.
You need to drop two filters in all your sequence: TC Reader and TC Generator.
You don’t need but to set the position, otherwise the windows will overlay.
this will make difficult any RT performance.
I guess you want to drop the filters right before rendering.

He means the new TIMECODE DISPLAY window that is part of FCP 7.
Sorry, FCP isn’t Avid. Those options aren’t available. Sequence time only.

yes i mean timecode display. the feature i am looking for, does not exist yet in final cut 7. thanks a lot.

This gives you something similar to the Avid timecode window with a Midi hack.
